Select Greater Philadelphia is the economic development marketing arm of the CEO Council for Growth. It is dedicated to building the economy of the Greater Philadelphia region by enhancing the area’s profile and image in order to attract and retain businesses. Select markets nationally and globally and is a private non-profit organization. The CEO Council has identified four “clusters” for Select’s priority attention. They are: life sciences, information technology, financial and professional services and chemicals. Select serves as the central point of contact for companies considering an expansion or location in the region and works cooperatively with eleven county economic development organizations in Greater Philadelphia. Select’s services are confidential and complimentary. It proactively recruits companies seeking to expand or locate, provides accurate information about the region, connects companies to service providers, facilitates site and incentive analysis and acts as a liaison between company representatives and economic developers in this tri-state area.
